No two communities begin at the same place. And no two CSR mandates are exactly alike.
That is why we do not begin with a pre-packaged programme.
We begin with a conversation.
What change does your organisation want to create?
Where do you want to create it?
Who do you want to reach?
What should success look like?
From there, we work together to design an intervention around your CSR priorities, the realities of the community and the outcomes we collectively want to achieve.
At the centre of this partnership is the Apni Kutir Blueprint, a field-tested, adaptable model that can bring together skills and livelihoods, healthcare, and Social Empowerment, Life and Leadership (SELL) according to the needs of each community and partnership.
Not your vision fitted into our programme.
Our experience built around your vision.
You shape the mandate. We build the pathway to delivery.
Depending on the partnership, a CSR organisation may support an entire Apni Kutir, a specific programme vertical, a specialised livelihood intervention, a healthcare initiative, a geographic expansion, or a focused innovation within the wider model.
Once the programme is designed, Calcutta Foundation manages the implementation ecosystem, from community engagement and mobilisation to programme delivery, monitoring, documentation and reporting.
Designed together.
Delivered on the ground.
Measured with evidence.
Purpose needs passion. Partnership also needs systems.
A CSR partnership carries responsibility, to communities, to companies, to boards and to the law.
Calcutta Foundation combines community-rooted implementation with the institutional systems required for responsible CSR partnerships.

Compliance is not a box we tick at the end of a project. It is part of how we build one from the beginning.
The partnerships we value most are those where a shared idea becomes something real on the ground, a classroom opens, a woman learns a skill, a health camp reaches a community, a new livelihood pathway takes shape.
Over the years, CSR and institutional partners have supported Calcutta Foundation across geographies, communities and programme models.
Our systems, governance and documentation have been subject to external due-diligence and assessment processes.
Start with a centre. A community. A challenge. Or simply a conversation.
01
Support a community-rooted centre that brings together livelihoods, healthcare and social empowerment under one integrated model.
02
From a specialised livelihood programme to an intervention designed for a particular geography or workforce need, we co-create programmes around your priorities.
03
Partner with us on:
The underlying Apni Kutir model already combines these three broad areas and allows specific interventions within each.
04
Support women with seed grants, starter kits, tools and livelihood-enabling resources that help turn training into an opportunity to earn.
05
Unrestricted funding helps Calcutta Foundation strengthen systems, invest in innovation, respond to emerging needs and build the organisational capacity required to scale impact responsibly.
The proposal is only the beginning. The real work is making sure the programme lives beyond the page.
Your priorities + community realities
Needs assessment + stakeholder consultation
Programme architecture + outcomes + budget
Team + systems + mobilisation + implementation
Monitoring + documentation + learning + reporting
Adaptation based on evidence and community feedback
You should know where the programme stands—not only when the annual report arrives.
Depending on the partnership structure, our reporting and documentation systems can include:
Programme and financial reporting
Beneficiary and cohort tracking
Baseline and endline assessments
Attendance and activity documentation
Outcome and livelihood tracking
Periodic review meetings
Utilisation and financial documentation
Audited organisational financial records
Field documentation and case studies
The organisational documentation set provided includes audited financial statements, auditors' reports, ITR acknowledgements and annual reports, alongside statutory registrations.
Transparency should not mean receiving more documents. It should mean understanding what is happening.
Impact deserves to be communicated well.
We work with partners to document and communicate programmes through responsible storytelling—bringing together field stories, photographs, impact data, programme milestones and community voices.
Depending on the partnership, this can include:
We tell the story of a partnership without making the community a backdrop to it.
Tell us where you want to create change. We will help think through what it could look like.
You may know the geography but not the intervention.
You may have a CSR mandate but still be exploring the right implementation model.
You may want to understand whether a livelihood, healthcare or integrated community programme would be most appropriate.
That is a good place to begin.
Speak with our team to explore community needs, programme possibilities and potential pathways for partnership.
